At the store there was a man making balloon animals. This was one of those cases where C shows how patient he can be for CERTAIN things (he can be incredibly, two-year-old-ish inpatient for lots of things!) We had to have waited in line for his balloon for at least 30-45 minutes. I kept asking, "do you want to wait for the balloon or leave" and he was intent on waiting. He camped out on the sidewalk and ate his snack. By the time it was his turn, his eyes were glued to the man and he was shuffling back and forth . The family behind us couldn't get over "how excited this little boy was for his balloon."
He then got this giant hat that was bigger than him. You should have seen us trying to walk through Harvard Square with this on. And then the most exciting thing, meeting George!
Our other fun development this weekend was making E laugh by singing her the watermelon song--and were able to get her giggles on video. (You can see the video better small...it is a little grainy when you make it full screen). Of course now C wants E to laugh on demand every time we sing the song. She is a very happy girl, but that is a lot to ask!
